Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm

Hey everyone,

I had a massive shopping haul yesterday with my mum and bought loads of goodies and the Botanics Cleansing Balm was one of them.

Botanics Cleansing Balm available at Boots. {£6.99}

I've been looking been looking for a cleansing balm for a while and after reading loads of reviews I chose the Botanics one which is available at Boots. To be fair there wasn't many to chose from and I wasn't prepared to pay £30 for, not after the amount I've spent on presents for Christmas.

The Botanics balm is 97% organic and has a blend of Shea Butter, Rosehip and Jojoba Oil which leaves the skin feeling smooth and clean. I used to the balm to remove my make up with the muslin cloth that is supplied and it really gets deep into the pores to remove any dead skin. I don't wear a lot of make up but I put quite a lot of mascara on and the the balm removed it really easily. It didn't make my eyes sore at all when I used it around that area and I even used to it to remove my eye liner which I put under my eyes.

I made sure that my hands were warm before applying the balm because it makes it easier to put onto the face. Once I had I applied it to my skin with light upward strokes and soaked the muslin cloth in warm water and using small circles, I removed my make up. After that I soaked the cloth in cold water and pressed it against my skin to close the pores. I use it both morning and night.

I have only used it a couple of times so I won't see major results yet but what I have seen is that my skin feels soft and refreshed, especially when I use it in the morning. It's not expensive either as I bought my for £6.99 from Boots, so it doesn't break the bank and it's perfect for people who haven't used cleansing balms before.

Have you tried the Botanics Cleansing Balm before? Do you recommended any balms that you have tried?
