My February Favourites

Hey everyone,

I can't believe it's March already and I'm doing another favourites post. I went on a bit of a spending spree last month and bought quite a lot (make up mostly). I did a haul post which you can read more about here and some of the products are going to be featuring in this post.

MUA Highlighter: I have been using this for a good month now and I have had mixed opinions about it. When I first used it I really liked it because it helped my bronzer go on better but then I was starting to have a change of heart because it was making my face look a bit too shimmery and pink. I'm not sure if that was down to the fact I applied too much or in the wrong areas. However since I have been using blusher and have been contouring my cheeks I've been really liking this product. I used to use it on my forehead but now it is just at the top of my cheek bone. I only apply one or 2 strokes to each of my cheeks. I picked it up in Superdrug for £3 and since then I've read a lot of reviews from fellow bloggers.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder:  This has to be my favourite buy of the month because I forgot how good this product actually was. I used to use it but then the powder was coming to an end so I picked up a different brand. This is the perfect product to set my foundation and get rid of any shine that is on my face. I recently reviewed this product in full so you can check it out here. Lots of other fellow bloggers rave about this so I think is definitely one to try. This was £3.99 from Boots.

Models Own Nail Varnish (Bubblegum): I am deeply in love with this nail varnish because it is NEON. I reviewed this briefly a couple of weeks ago and mentioned that I was going to a Glow Party so that is the reason why I got this nail varnish. I've never tried Models Own before so this was an experiment but I never knew how many different types of nail polishes they did from matte to glitter and even scented ones. My best friend picked up one in Grape Juice which was a lilac colour and it actually smelt like grapes. I got this in Superdrug for £5. Check out what it looked like on my nails here.

Yankee Candle (Champaca Blossom): I thought I would put in my favourite candle of the month because I went on a small Yankee Candle haul a couple of weeks ago. I have been burning this one quite a few times especially when I'm having a bath or chilling in my room. This is from the new Spring Collection and it has that gorgeous fresh floral smell.

Have you tried any of my favourites this month?
