Barry M Gelly Nail Paint: Grapefruit

Hey everyone,

I am a HUGE fan of nail varnishes and it has to be one of my guilty pleasures in life. I recently went on a massive nail polish haul and picked up my FIRST Barry M Gelly Nail Varnish. I've read so many reviews about them but I finally went and bought one to see for myself.

I have mixed options about this one but their mostly positive. The only negative is that it is very thick so I put a lot on my first nail and it didn't dry very well so I would advise to only put a small amount on the brush. The 'Gelly' collection is a gel inspired nail varnish that is supposed to have a base and top coat incorporated in the polish. Some many say that they could just apply a base and top coat themselves but this is really easy if your in a rush and don't have time for a full manicure.
Available at Superdrug {£3.99}

The shine on this is amazing and it leaves a smooth finish too. It also lasts quite a while too and I had it on for about 4 days without it chipping which is impressive for the price I paid. I applied 2 coats even though you don't need to but it's probably force of habit.

There were a range of gorgeous colours but I chose the Grapefruit pink because it was so summary. Pastel colours are so on trend and Barry M have created some beautiful summer shades. I think I will be buying from this range again soon.

Have you tried the Barry M Gelly Range?
