Fashions Most Wanted: Tropical Prints

Hey everyone,

Spring has sprung and summer is on it's way meaning it's time to get all those pretty and colourful clothes out (if you haven't done so already). As we know Floral prints are going to a major trend this year and I've been noticing a lot of tropical prints too.

I've made a wishlist of some of the tropical prints that have caught my eye and some that I'd love to own.

1) Palm Camisole from Oasis {£25) This is such a pretty but simple piece that can be worn with a pair of jeans for any occasion. This has a flattering scoop neck and a dip hem which is one of my favourite looks right now. I would team this up with a pair of black heels or wedges with a blazer.

2) Tropical Playsuit from Oasis  {£45}This is a piece for someone who doesn't like the bright bold colours but loves the patterned prints because the colours are very toned down and are set on a navy colour. It has adjustable straps so it's perfect for those warm evenings but can easily be worn with a cardigan. This will look so pretty with a pair of flip flops or converses.

3) Tropical Print Pencil Skirt from Miss Selfridge {£25} This is something that I wouldn't normally go for because I usually go for plain prints on skirts but I've been feeling adventurous lately. This would work so well with a white camisole or crop top teamed up with a pair of black heels. I would wear this on holiday or for a night out.

4) Tropical Print Kimono from Matalan  {£12} Kimono's is one fashion piece that I want this season because they are something that you can wear for anything. You can team it up with a pair of jeans and a simple top or wear it over a bikini; the list is endless. This print a real statement and can bring any plain outfit alive and for £12 you can't go wrong.

5)  Tropical Palm Print Camisole from Warehouse {£22} This is another piece that can be worn with lots of things and for many occasions. I love the white background with the greens and oranges really standing out. Once again I would wear this with a pair of denim skinny jeans and a pair of heels or flip flops.

6) Boat Neck Printed Dress from Zara {£59.99} This is another unusual dress especially with the boat style neckline which is something I would normally go for. I absolutely love the print on this dress and the colours are so feminine with the baby pinks and blues. This is a lovely figure flattering dress which will hug the body in all the right places. I would team this up with a white cardigan or blazer with a pair of nude heels; a potential summer wedding outfit.

I am so tempted by these pieces I've picked out and I'll let you know if I purchase any of them.

Do you like the Tropical Prints?
