My EcoTools Pick Up

Hey everyone,

I have just noticed that I have never done a make up brush review so I thought I would talk about my 2 favourite EcoTools brushes that I bought recently.

If your someone who cares about the environment then your love this range because the handles are made from bamboo and the bristles are synthetic taklon (which I have no idea what they are).

This was the first EcoTools brush that I bought and I was surprised at the quality of the brush. I use this for my blusher because the brush is a good size for the apples of my cheeks as mine are quite plump. The bristles are really soft it doesn't scratch your skin or irritate it. I also use this to apply my powder as it is a good size and doesn't provide loads of coverage that my make up looks cakey (I believe that they do a powder brush which is a bit bigger and more round that it provides an even coverage). I bought this from Boots for £7.99.

I had no idea what the Kabuki brush was at first until I started using mineral foundation. I've been using Bare Minerals Foundation for a couple of weeks now and they recommended using a Kabuki brush if you wanted a full coverage. I found this brush and it helps apply my foundation nice and evenly without it looking cakey. This bristles are like feathers and it allows me to buff the mineral foundation into my skin without the bristles feeling scratchy. I bought this brush for £9.99 at Boots.

I can safely say this is the best brush range I have used and will be trying some more of their products soon.

Have you tried any of the EcoTools range?
