Fragrance Direct Competition #thefaceofFD

Hey everyone,

So I have decided to take part in a competition that Fragrance Direct is running with blogger The Sunday Girl.  Basically Fragrance Direct is giving one beauty blogger the chance to be the face of the brand for a year along with receiving lots of goodies. All you have to do is write about your favourite beauty look including picture; it's a bit like a tutorial you would find on Youtube.

I have decided to go for the natural look because this is something I tend to wear on a daily basis and also there are so many natural looks that you can create so easily.

Step 1: Firstly I applied my Wake Me Up Foundation from Rimmel in the shade True Ivory. I decided to go for this foundation because it creates are really pretty dewy look and gives a natural coverage to the skin.

Step 2: I then applied the Collection Long Lasting Concealer under my eyes and to any blemishes that are on my skin. This concealer brightens up the skin without it looking cakey or too over the top.

Step 3: I then used my Barry M Summer Love Eye Palate to add a pop of colour to the eyes. This palate doesn't give a lot of colour but gives the eye a little bit of a shimmer. I applied a nude, pink, taupe and a mint green then blended it altogether. I'm hoping to do a tutorial on this palate soon.

Step 4: This step is optional but I applied a thin line of liquid eyeliner on the top of the eye using the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner. I like to use this because it makes the eyes pop out a little bit more and gives the eyes a bit of definition.

Step 5: I then used my Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for both the top and bottom of my lashes. I like this one because it gives a natural effect to the lashes and evenly spreads them out and not make them clumpy. This is one I use on a daily basis.

Step 6: I was going for the more natural look and I used my Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzer to give my face more colour. I didn't bother to contour but I applied the bronzer on my cheek bones and across my forehead to add a bit more colour. I did however use my Little Mix By Collection Blush on the apples of my colour to add that bit of colour but I only applied a little sweep.

Step 7: To finish the look of I applied the Tanya Burr lipgloss in Picnic In The Park to add a little pop of colour to the lips. This colour is pretty pink which adds a shine to the lips too.

I hope this tutorial has inspired you to enter the competition but don't wait too long because it closes on Thursday 19th June.

This competition is open to all bloggers, for T&Cs go to
