What I'm Wearing: Jess' 18th Birthday

Hey everyone,

So last night it was my friends' 18th Birthday Party so it meant it was my chance to dress up. I had no idea what to wear and I couldn't decide whether to wear a skirt or a dress. In the the end I went for a skirt I bought AGES ago from New Look with a crop top teamed up with a pair of wedges.

I bought this skirt quite a long time ago and I haven't had the chance to wear it for anything so I was so excited to wear it last night. The skirt itself is a really pretty mint green colour and is quite clingy to the figure so nude underwear VPL underwear is a must have. The skirt stops just on the knee so it's not too revealing and it won't keep riding (which is something I hate).

I decided to team it up with a cute crop top from Topshop as the skirt can be worn as a high waisted piece and I teamed it up with a pair of metallic wedges which I bought a couple of weeks ago. Again I haven't had the chance to wear these and I must say they are very comfy. The wedge isn't too high so if your someone who is tall or doesn't like a high heel then these are perfect. I got these wedges from Deichmann. I accessorised the outfit with a pair of drop earrings from Next which had little crystals on.

Outfit:
Skirt: New Look
Crop Top: Topshop
Wedges: Deichmann

Smoky Eye
As for my make up I didn't want to go for an over dramatic look so I went for a brown smoky eye and neutral make up on the face. I did however try putting on Fake Eyelashes but they weren't having it so after about 20 minutes I gave up and layered on the Scandeleyes from the Kate Moss by Rimmel collection which made my lashes stand out.
