Clinique Stay-Matte Foundation

Hey everyone,

It is so hard to find the perfect foundation and I am still trying to find mine. To be honest I think it depends on the occasion that your going to so I will always turn to my MAC foundation if I'm going on a night out and my L'Oreal True Match for the day. I asked on twitter what foundations you recommended for oily skin and there were so many different types from MAC to Dior; the list goes on.

I went for the Clinique Stay Matte Foundation because it was Oil Free and I read somewhere that if you have oily skin then you should stick to this category if you can. The foundation it's self I really like and it goes on my skin really well and unlike other stay matte foundations this isn't thick and doesn't leave my skin cakey. The foundation comes in a tube which isn't one I usually go for but I put a little bit of foundation on each section of my face and buff it in. The foundation is a gel like formula so it's so lightweight and goes on the skin so smoothly.

I went for the shade Fair.
The reason why I don't like this foundation is because it leaves my blusher and foundation looking patchy which is something I've never had before. I usually use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer which I love but it wasn't going on as smooth as it used to with the L'Oreal True Match Foundation.

I wasn't too impressed with this foundation so I don't think I will be purchasing this again.

Have you tried the Clinique Stay Matte Foundation? What foundations do you recommend for oily skin?
