February Favourites 2017

Hello everyone,

I can't believe we're in March already which happens to be one of my favourite months of the year. The evenings are staying lighter for longer and hopefully the weather starts to brighten up soon. Like always I thought I would run through what I've been loving and the products that have been standing out for me.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara: I have to admit I didn't get on with the original falsies mascara but this product makes an appearance on a daily basis. When I first tried it I really didn't think it will make an affect because the applicator was so small and thin but your be surprised. With two coats of the mascara my lashes look bold, volumised and look just like angel wings. My lashes don't look clumpy at all and they are all separated evenly.

L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation (Vanilla):
This product has made an recent appearance in my make up routine, I just love it when you discover an favourite after so long. The foundation is perfect for my oily t-zone and sits perfectly on my skin. The coverage is perfect too, whilst it provides a high coverage it still makes the skin look luminous and not too cakey.

Herbal Essences Detox Shampoo (White Tea & Mint):I've been using a high end shampoo for the last couple of months but you can't go wrong with Herbal Essences and they are my go to drugstore brand for hair care. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling super soft and so shiny whilst it also keeps my colour looking fresh too. The smell of this product is so refreshing especially when I'm using it to wash my hair in the morning.

L'Oreal Pure Gold Lipstick (Plum)
I've been experimenting with my lip colours and venturing away from the nudes and pinks. I love a good L'Oreal lipstick, they do the exactly what they say on the packaging and affordable at the same time. This gorgeous plum shade is the perfect transition shade now that we're (hopefully) approaching the warmer months. The shade works perfectly with my skin tone and adds a little bit more glamour to a simple make up look. I can easily wear this from day to night without a doubt.

YSL Black Opium Perfume:
This is my go to perfume for any night out. I've been wearing this perfume for over a year now and I still can't get enough of it. I've tried a lot of high end perfumes and this has got to be by far my favourite. There are gorgeous notes of white florals and vanilla which have to be some of my favourite scents. Whenever I apply this scent I instantly feel all grown up and ready for a night out.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation (Santa Fe):Yes, I have just jumped on the bandwagon and discovered this foundation. I wanted it for a Christmas present but it seemed impossible to find my shade and most stores had sold out. A couple of weeks ago visited the Space NK store in Windsor and they thankfully had my shade. I am in love with this foundation and the constancy is amazing. I'm not a lover of thick foundations so this quite a watery texture which blends beautifully. I love using this on a daily basis but there is enough coverage for a glam night out too. The foundation leaves my skin with a dewy finish and a healthy glow.

What products have you been loving in the last month?
