Review | L'Oreal Infallible Total Coverage

Hello everyone,

L'Oreal is by far my favourite highstreet range and I use so many of their products both make up and skincare in my daily routine. Now you will know I love their Infallible Matte foundation which made an appearance in my latest February Favourites. L'Oreal has now bought out a new range which is a step up from the Infallible Matte Range which is called Total Coverage. It's supposed to provide 24 hour coverage which gives a flawless, full coverage look without it looking too cakey and over the top.

Total Coverage Foundation (Light Sand):
When I first tried this foundation I didn't really like it and I think the reasons for that was, I applied it with a blender which came free when I made my purchase. I found it stuck to my dry patches especially around my nose and on my forehead and it didn't really blend well. I then applied it with a foundation brush and it blended beautifully. The application was so even and flawless but I think where my skin has become a little bit on the dry side the foundation isn't really for me. I would say if you have very oily skin then the foundation is perfect because it mattifies the skin leaving a flawless finish.

Total Coverage Concealer Palette:
I loved the look of this palette, it had 3 different shades to conceal any blemishes so you didn't have the challenge of having to choose the right shade of concealer. It also had a purple shade which is perfect for the under eyes and brightening any areas of the skin up. Also there is a mint green shade which conceals any redness so I like to use this on my nose and on my chin. The products really blend well, with a creamy consistency so the smallest amount will be enough. I usually apply the product with my finger and blend it out with either my concealer brush or foundation brush.

Have you tried any of the new Total Coverage Range?
