REVIEW | Sanctuary Spa Hot Cloth Cleanser

Sanctuary Cleanser

Sanctuary Cleanser 2

Hello loves,

I am buying so many new products lately and I feel like I need to review them because I do love a review and I feel like I don’t do enough of them! Sometimes you don’t want to just buy a product without reading a review- well I know I don’t anyways.
I find a cleanser is the most IMPORTANT step in my skincare routine. It removes make up, dead skin and also gently moisturises the skin too but obviously you need an actual moisturiser too in your routine.
I recently ran out of my FAVOURITE Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and I couldn’t locate a shop that stocked the brand anywhere so I had to opt for an alternative.

The Sanctuary Spa Hot Cloth Cleanser is one I’ve never used before but I find a hot cloth cleanser works best for my skin at removing make up and anything under the skin.  The cleanser is infused with essential oils and natural ingredients including bees wax, cocoa butter, coconut and jojoba oil.
I like to use about a 10 pence size amount, massage into my skin and use a warm muslin cloth to remove any make up and dead skin. I find this leaves my skin looking and feeling refreshed and also super soft ready for the next step in my skin routine. I use this both morning and evening removing any impurities and dirt on my skin.
Now the only downside to this product is the smell. It’s not a bad smell but it’s certainly strong. I think that’s from the beeswax, cocoa butter and coconut all mixed together so it smells like a botanical garden which isn’t exactly my favourite smell but it doesn’t stop me using the product.

After reading the reviews I know a lot of people have used this as it’s a lot like the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish which is exactly why I brought it. I will say I love the Liz Earle Cleanser more but this is certainly more affordable and can be purchased in any high street drug store.

Have you tried the Sanctuary Spa Hot Cloth Cleanser?
What are your favourite cleansers?

Lots of love Chloe x

  1. I honestly don't understand why everyone loves hot cloth cleansers, they do nothing for me 😞 Glad they work for you though!

    1. They aren't for everyone to be honest. Depends on your skin type
