3 Months on- Helping My Well-being & Mind

Hello loves,

A couple of months back I did a Well-Being post focusing on how I'm helping my Mental Heath. Now I thought I would do a little update for you all as to how I'm getting on. That particular blog post seemed to be really popular with you all and I know Mental Health a huge talked about subject lately. I also feel this a good way for me to track my progress as blogging part time can be quite stressful at times and sometimes I do feel the pressure to stay on track as I like to post 3 times a week but it can be hard to produce that much content so having some self-care time is so important.

Now I thought I would just to a quick round up as to how I'm doing 3 months on from writing the original blog post. If you do want to find out what goals I set then you can read the whole original post. I don't really want to repeat myself and bore you to death. Now stop rambling Chloe and get on with it!!

This is something I really have been sticking to and I've been trying to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I don't always stick to that and sometimes it can be twice a week but when I do go my mind feels so much clearer and I feel so much more relaxed in myself. If I don't make it to the gym then I make sure I workout at home for about 15 minutes and I've been loving Sarah's Day workouts which are perfect it you're on a tight schedule.

Read Before I go to Sleep:
I have made it my mission to do this most nights and I've stuck to it. I find reading just lets my brain switch off from a busy day and I can go into another world of fairy tale. I've recently completed Sophie Kinsella I Got Your Number which I could not put down and I was hooked from the start. Also I've been going to the Library more so it means I don't have to constantly buy a book. I find reading before bed I get a better night sleep in general.

Having a More Healthier Diet:I know I am rubbish at sticking to this. I start off well in the morning but by dinner time this goes down hill. Lately I have been making sure I eat lots more fruit  and vegetables even if I do have some chocolate in between. I know if I stick to this routine my body and my mind feels so much healthier and cleaner. I have also tried to cut down on alcohol too especially during the week but it doesn't always happen but we're human right. I live by the 80/20 rule and I find my body likes it.

I know I said it would only be a round up but I got carried away which is CLASSIC Chloe. These are just a few of the goals I have been stick to in order to help my mind and well-being.

What goals have you been keeping to in order to help your mind?

Lots of love Chloe x

  1. awesome - thanks for sharing

  2. I wish I'd spent more time in my teens, 20s and 30s being aware of how important self-care and general wellbeing is. It's never too late, thank goodness, but it's good to see so many people taking time to share their wellbeing work and helping others. Great post!
