Afternoon Tea at Ashdown Park Hotel

Hello loves,

Long time no speak...You might have noticed that I'm not posting as regularly as I used to and that's just because life has gotten in the way and I've just not had time. Also I've found I'm running out of content sometimes so I'm not putting as much pressure on myself to blog as much as I used to but I do have a few exciting posts lined up.

I recently went to Afternoon Tea at Ashdown Park Hotel with Josh's family for a few exciting birthdays. Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do on a special occasion especially when it's a special treat.

Ashdown Park Hotel is set in a beautiful location in East Grinstead surrounded by Ashdown Forest (cue the Disney obsessed girl) and although the hotel interior might be a little but dated the grounds are just STUNNING! The hotel overlooks the beautiful gardens and the incredible 18 hole golf course. The reason as to why we went to the hotel is Josh's auntie got married a few years ago and the hotel is just perfect for that fairy tale wedding.

The Afternoon tea itself was amazing too, full of sandwiches, cakes, scones and of course lots of tea even though I had a latte. I will admit I am very fussy with tea and when I'm out and about I prefer a coffee! I will admit the Afternoon tea was on the expensive side and I did think you would get a little bit more for what you paid for however I do think you was paying for the location and surroundings. I always look at an afternoon tea and I don't think it' going to be enough but it was super filling.

We was so lucky with the weather so we was able to wonder outside and have a look round the grounds. You could walk for miles and just get lost in your thoughts. The hotel offers lots of different events including their spa and the golf course so no matter what you have in mind I'm sure you will be relaxed.

Have you been to the Ashdown Park Hotel before?

Lots of love Chloe x

  1. I love this! I miss being able to visit places in England for an afternoon tea -- I think I will just have to create my own at home!

  2. Such a gorgeous place. I told my husband I want to go out more before the baby comes, and I`d love to have afternoon tea in a lovely hotel like this. I`ve never went for afternoon tea, so it`s something I`m really excited about.
