Why I'm Not Making New Years Resolutions for 2020



Hello Lovelies,

If you saw my blog post What's on the Horizon for 2020? then your know that I have written a few things down that I want to do for 2020 both blogging and personal. I wouldn't see these as New Years Resolutions more of what I want to include in my day to day routine to make life that little bit easier and better.

Every year like a lot of us I say I'm going to make New Years Resolutions like doing Dry January which I have failed on so many occasions or go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Lets face that is possible but sometimes life gets in the way and when you don't do something in particular then it feels like you have failed and it all goes down from there.

That is why I'm NOT doing New Years Resolutions this year. I think we make resolutions and stick to them for about a month and then when it gets to February we forget about them. Now don't get me wrong resolutions are good for some people, they see it as motivation to help reach their goal and that is amazing but it doesn't work for me.

I want to feel like I have factored something into my life for the keep like upping my fitness game or eating more healthier not saying I'm cutting out alcohol for the whole of January because lets face facts this girl likes a drink every now and again!
