Current Winter Skincare Routine

Hello lovelies,

I have really missed writing the classic blog posts including beauty. It has been nearly 2 years since I posted my skincare routine and although it hasn't changed too much my skin has certainly got a lot drier especially during the winter months.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish:

My absolute go to holy grail product for cleansing. I have loved this for over 10 years through my teenage breakouts to my drier skin days. This is the one product I would always recommend to anyone no matter their skin type or age. It removes the toughest of make up especially waterproof mascara and leaves my skin feeling cleansed and clean!

Simple Micellar Water:

Another staple product in my routine which has replaced my toner. I tend to change between the Simple and Garnier Micellar water depending on what's on offer but they both do an excellent job. It helps keep my skin feeling fresh and removes that extra layer of make up that gets stuck under my pores. It would equally work well as a cleanser for those who don't like a hot cloth cleanser.

Clinique Moisture Surge:

Something brand new to my routine but I absolutely love already. I always hesitate when buying expensive beauty products because I always find the high street brands do just as good a job but this was worth the pennies and the best part it was on offer! This moisturiser gives my skin the best drink when its dry especially during the colder months. I've been experiencing a lot of dryness on my hair line and this has done the best job of clearing up the dry skin.

Simple Soothing Eye Balm:

I never knew the importance of an eye balm until I was getting really dry sore eye lids. I find this eye balm soothes my eyes both morning and night and gives them a boost when I need it. My eyes feel so much more awake and a lot more brighter. I like to apply this to both the lids and under my eye area.

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Face Wash:

Another product I have been using for years. Although I am suffering with more dry skin, I do still get breakouts and I think its so important to exfoliate my skin every morning to remove the excess dead skin that accumulates over night.

I haven't changed my skincare routine too much I have just swapped a few products out from the last time I did a skincare post.

What are your go to skincare products for the winter?

Lots of love Chloe 💋
